Philosophy of Care
Adverse life experiences can overwhelm us and tap our personal resources. Human beings are amazingly resilient, but sometimes life deals cards that outstrip our ability to bounce back. It is a kindness we give ourselves, when we allow ourselves to reach out for help. Each person’s journey out of unease and unhappiness is unique, based on individual perspectives, preferences, values, circumstances and needs. By embarking upon the journey in a way that prioritizes what feels most compelling and attainable—one-step-at-a-time, in manageable, bite-sized chunks—I work with each person to make the pathway out of angst and anguish more relaxed, intuitive, spontaneous and hopeful.
